My Oregon, Your Oregon

The photographs in this book feature many aspects of the wonderful state of Oregon and its glorious natural beauty. Take a moment to look at the diversity of landscape, the sea, the rivers, mountains, flora, and weather. There is also a section on my home town of St Helens, Oregon. This has been a wonderful project and I hope you enjoy this book.
A portion of the proceeds of this book will go to the Children's Garden at Emanuel Hospital. Portland, a wonderful place and a place I visit on a weekly basis. Thank you for buying this book.

Blue Rose Bowl

This is a ceramic bowl glazed with a barium blue glaze. The colour is a beautiful shade of blue with some green undertones and a pretty sheen.The light brings out the colours really well. Beautiful Sunflower Poster Review

This is a photograph of a sunflower taken in the summer as the light fades late in the evening. The sunflower head is heavy with all seeds and is drooping slightly. It makes for a beautiful composition with the sun behind lighting up the sunflower. The colors in this poster are vibrant and bright and show off the subject to its maximum advantage. This poster is a personal favorite of mine.

Acapulco Travel Poster Review

Acapulco Travel Poster

I will be highlighting and reviewing more from the series as well as other photographs as time permits.

This view of Acapulco was taken from Fort San Diego, which is situated on a high point in the city. The photograph was taken in March 2006, and shows the lovely beach and bay area of the city as well as the general view which is so classic. This photograph is one of my most popular on my Flickr photo sharing website. Acapulco of course is famous for more than this beautiful view, it is famous for the cliff divers and also the celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton who stayed there during the glamorous 50's and 60's.
